Dollhaus Born from a Simple Love
Dollhaus Royale began with a simple love for the Shih Tzu breed. Our journey started in 2017 with Luna, a beautiful black Shih Tzu who introduced us to the breed's affectionate nature, playful personality, and remarkable ability to bring joy into our lives. Years later, Ottie became our soul dog, deepening our appreciation for the special bond we share with these little companions.
Cheesecake became the inspiration behind Cheesecake, our business that has since grown into a successful brand in the Philippines. What began with a love for something meaningful gradually became a business we poured our time, creativity, and passion into. Today, Cheesecake is a brand of its own, carrying a name that will always hold a special place in our story.
But behind the name was a puppy who changed us in a much more personal way.
Losing Cheesecake was heartbreaking. Her absence left us with questions, a deeper appreciation for the fragility of life, and a desire to understand the breed we had grown to love. That experience became a turning point. We wanted to learn more than simply how to care for our dogs we wanted to understand their health, nutrition, development, temperament, genetics, and the responsibilities that come with breeding.
We began seeking knowledge, asking questions, learning from experienced individuals, and exploring the world of Shih Tzu genetics and bloodlines. Eventually, we found a mentor who helped us develop a deeper understanding of the breed and the thoughtfulness required to approach breeding responsibly.
Over time, that journey grew into something of its own: Dollhaus Royale.
While Cheesecake became our business and a brand we proudly built, Dollhaus Royale grew from our personal journey with the Shih Tzu breed. They are two distinct parts of our lives, connected by the same beginning a love that changed the way we saw these little dogs and the responsibility we carry toward them.
